UNSW definitely has a great social life. Just depends where you go. The roundhouse parties are generally the best, not packed to the brim like Oktoberfest. The college kids are a real integral part of it, really put effort into costumes etc and are always plastered to make sure everything is pumping.

As a general rule, undergrad at UNSW is quite difficult of a uni (compared to universities in the US, but easier than Singapore or India). You have to work hard to obtain good grades. Passing isn’t easy for many subjects (they recently got rid of pass conceeded grades) unless if you study smart and effective.
