What did you learn from NCC?

It makes you learn many things, which otherwise you won’t get a chance to in life. Discipline, basic arms training, team ethics, following orders, various kinds of physical activities, sports, tours to remote areas, etc. are some of the things you experience and learn in NCC.

What is important part of learning in NCC?

The main aim of the training given is to: Develop in youth the quality of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, secular outlook, and spirit of adventure, sportsmanship and the ideals of selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizens who can serve their country effectively and passionately.

What is taught in NCC camp?

VSC is generally conducted in the month of Oct and Inter Directorate competitions pertaining to air wing training are held during this camp. Rock Climbing Training Camps (RCTC). Eight rock climbing camps are held each year to expose NCC cadets to the basics of rock climbing and to inculcate spirit of adventure.

What is your experience in NCC?

NCC has taught me leadership, time management, stress, team work which myself unique. The life as a cadet is one of the best experiences one can ever have as it teaches them life as it is and shows how it is to be an officer in the Indian Armed Forces management. This was my experience in NCC.

Benefits of NCC also includes self-discipline and problem-solving skills. The main benefits of NCC apart from personality developing skills, is the certificate you get. After completion of training and fulfilling other conditions like attendance etc, the candidate gets the certificate from the NCC.
