What is the most important lesson you have learned in life?

One of the most important lessons that I have learned in life is to “face your fears.” Fears can hold us back from experiencing everything that life has to offer. When we give into fear we limit ourselves. We think we can do only this—go only that far—but no more. My fear was a fear of failure.

Endings are never easy, which is why we need to learn how to move on to new chapters in our life. Knowing how to process feelings of loss and taking steps to prepare for new phases will ensure you make the most out of every stage of your life.

What did you learn in psychology class?

It is an introduction class, so it does not go deeply into any one category, instead just skims most of them. I learned what qualifies psychology as a science, the brain and how it is important in the science of psychology. I learned about sensation and perception and then did a project on how psychoactive drugs alter them.
